Well the 2010 Games are here and the city is electric.
Everywhere you turn there is red and white pride, grinning faces, and amazing events.
It's day 3 and the public transit situation is not nearly as horrible as some had made it out to be. We’ve managed to get around with no more than a regular waits for trains and buses. Nothing to note other than loads of happy Olympic fans everywhere, no issues, no fussing, no problems.
This week I’ve got a day off from classes on Tuesday and plan to walk the city with friends, taking in Ireland House, along with a few other site and most likely a few drinks.
P and I are going to a Curling event Thursday, heading up to Whistler Saturday for some shredding and partying and then making our way to up Cypress for the Men’s Ski Cross on Sunday.
It’s a crazy busy time and I am so grateful to be here in VanCity right now, having the world as our guests and fully enjoying every minute of it.
